D-A-S Construction Company is an Ohio based general contractor, construction manager, and design builder. They specialize in commercial construction including interior and exterior renovations, remodeling, building additions and ground up construction of new buildings.
The Challenge
D-A-S needed a website that reflected the high quality of the projects they produce while remaining easy to use, update and expand. Because they serve numerous and varied markets, D-A-S needed an organized directory structure that would allow visitors to easily locate their specific area of interest. Furthermore, competition among construction companies is intense in the region, and D-A-S wanted to take full advantage of search engine capabilities when prospective clients search for construction companies on the web.
a.i. Design Group Responds
We designed an attractive framework for D-A-S that remains constant on every page, lending consistency to the various areas of the site and reducing load time overall. An extensive navigational system also remains consistent along the left hand side of the site, and the directories expand and collapse as visitors move through the site allowing for a wide range of choices in each subdirectory while still remaining easy to locate in the browser frame. To optimize their visibility on the web, we produced individual search tags for each major section of the site, increasing their exposure in various search engines and helping prospective clients find their site when using targeted search terms.
