In just a few short years, social networking has evolved from an easy way for teenagers and college students to stay in touch to a bona fide networking tool embraced by professionals and businesses worldwide. Capitalizing on the popularity of social networking, MDsConnect.net was created to help physicians stay connected while providing valuable resources to enhance their careers.
a.i. Design Group’s Response
We began with core market research into current social media sites and outlined recommendations for the structure of MDsConnect.net. Next, we defined the overall look and feel for the website, designed a straightforward logo, generated a color palette, and wrote the tagline “Connect. Learn. Grow.” Extensive mockups followed to determine funtionality, usability, and interactivity prior to the programming phase which required a very sophisticated database structure.
Once all areas of the website – public, member only, administrative and database – were programmed and tested, we launched a marketing campaign which included an electronic brochure, advertising sell sheets, HTML eMails and more. Our in-depth knowledge of the project streamlined the marketing process and enabled us to generate these items quickly and efficiently. Finally, we created a support area with step-by-step instructions for using the website, minimizing the need for members to contact MDsConnect for assistance.
Result
Through our partnership with MDsConnect we were able to turn our client’s vision into a reality. Membership in MDsConnect is growing steadily and new services are being introduced on a regular basis to keep the website engaging and fresh.
