Martin-Senour Paints
Web Design + Website Development
Opportunity Established in 1878, Martin-Senour Paints is one of the oldest and most respected names in consumer, contractor and industrial coatings today. Although they enjoy considerable brand awareness, their web presence did not convey their strong brand position or speak to their target audience in a meaningful way.
a.i. Design Group’s Response We significantly repositioned Martin-Senour’s website by delivering powerful functionality in a relevant visual framework consistent with their first-rate reputation. Flowing design and multiple layers of valuable content communicate clearly to Martin-Senour’s target demographic of 18- to 45-year-old women.
Beyond website design and development, a.i. Design was responsible for a significant amount of website content. We generated original text and artwork for the Idea Center area, particularly the How to Use Color and Understanding Color pages. In addition, we organized all products into a robust database, streamlining product selection and providing instant access to Material Safety Data Sheets. Finally, we built the Paint with Confidence area from the ground up, and created the Materials Checklist with an automated “Generate My List” feature.
Result Martin-Senour Paints has a web presence that reflects their standard of quality both visually and functionally. The welcoming tone of the text, generous amount of information, helpful hints, easy-to-use product selector and more inspire even the novice do-it-yourselfer with the confidence to transform their surroundings with paint.
